Is there parking near The VETS?

Is The VETS accessible by public transportation?
Yes. Providence offers multiple transportation options, and the downtown train station is within easy walking distance to The VETS.

Providence is conveniently located on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor route, which runs from Boston to Washington, D.C. and back. High-speed Acela service easily transports passengers from New York City to Providence in about two hours and 30 minutes. The Providence train station is located at 100 Gaspee Street, in the heart of the downtown area.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) runs low-cost, round-trip rail service from Boston to downtown Providence and to Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport in Warwick.

ASL Interpretation
Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to request ASL interpretation. We will strive to accommodate requests for this service made by October 1st. Requests made after October 1st will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
Assisted Listening Devices
We are coordinating with The VETS to offer assisted listening devices free of charge. We will also set several assisted listening devices aside at registration, and these will be available to attendees on a first come, first serve, basis.
Captioning
Captioning will be available for all sessions.
Format
The Summit is held entirely in plenary, with morning, afternoon, and lunch breaks. We understand that audience members may want additional breaks, and we welcome attendees to come and go as needed during sessions.
Gender Neutral Bathrooms
We will ensure that an easily accessible bathroom is designated as gender neutral for the duration of the Summit.
Parking
Accessible parking is located in the lot directly in front of The VETS, and is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Physical Accessibility
The VETs Auditorium maintains accessible seating and entryways. Lower levels and additional restrooms are accessible via an elevator off the main lobby. Spaces used for the Summit will be handicap accessible. For more information, visit The VETS Accessibility page.
Services Animals
Service Animals are welcome at the Summit. Per The VETS service animal policy, service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. If you are planning to bring a service animal, please note this in your registration or contact [email protected] so that we can set aside aisle seating.
Where do I go when I arrive at The VETS?
Summit attendees will use The VETS main entrance where you’ll be directed to the Summit Registration Desk. The Registration Desk and Guest Relations Desk will be staffed for the duration of the Summit.
Livestreaming the Summit
How do I access Summit Livestream?
Your Summit Livestream registration is hosted on Zoom Webinar. Links to the Summit Livestream and further details will be emailed to you directly in advance of the Summit.
How can a troubleshoot Summit Livestream if needed?
You’ll be provided with a help desk number to call if you’re having trouble joining a Livestream session. As a Summit Livestream participant you also will be provided with a link to our backup stream.
Will a recording of the event be available after the Summit?
Programming at the Summit (with the exception of the awards reception) will be recorded, and access to the recordings will be provided to all registrants, both in person and livestream, shortly after the conference.
