A.R. Siders, JD, PhD is Director of the Gerard J. Mangone Climate Change Science and Policy Hub and an associate professor in geography, public policy, and disaster science at the University of Delaware. She holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a PhD from Stanford University. Her research on climate adaptation decision-making focuses on transformation, relocation as adaptation, and adaptation justice. Siders contributed to the first IPCC-ICOMOS-UNESCO Co-Sponsored Meeting on Culture, Heritage and Climate Change. She is leading the adaptation chapter of the 6th US National Climate Assessment. She is originally from Duluth, Minnesota, and misses the cold.
