
President & CEO | Los Angeles Conservancy
Adrian Scott Fine serves as President and CEO of the Los Angeles Conservancy, leading the largest local nonprofit heritage conservation organization in the U.S. He oversees the Conservancy’s work across 88 cities and unincorporated areas of L.A. County (4,751 square miles), managing teams that set strategic direction, build public awareness, protect historic sites, and launch new initiatives. Fine collaborates closely with local governments, nonprofits, and community stakeholders to advance preservation efforts. He also serves on the board of Synergy, an affordable housing nonprofit organization.
Before joining the Conservancy, Fine held leadership roles at the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia, guiding national policy and advocacy across several Northeast states. He also worked with Indiana Landmarks, the nation’s largest statewide heritage nonprofit. Fine is a past President of the California Preservation Foundation and actively contributes to preservation education and training programs with the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions, Docomomo-SoCal, and teaches at the USC Summer Short Course on Heritage Conservation and the Getty’s International Course on the Conservation of Modern Heritage.
