Eric Höweler, FAIA, is an architect, designer, and educator. He is an Associate Professor in Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he has taught since 2008. Eric’s research focuses on building technology integration and material systems. Eric is a co-founding partner of Höweler + Yoon Architecture, a research-driven studio of 25+ designers. Recent projects include the MIT Museum and The Memorial to Enslaved Laborers at the University of Virginia. He is the co-author of Expanded Practice (Princeton Architectural Press 2009) and Verify In Field: Projects and Conversations Höweler + Yoon (Park Books, 2021), author of Skyscraper, Vertical Now (Rizzoli/Universe 2003) and co-author of 1,001 Skyscrapers (Princeton Architectural Press 2000). Prior to co-founding H+Y in 2005 with J. Meejin Yoon, Eric was a senior designer at Diller Scofidio + Renfro and an Associate Principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.
