Jane has 20 years of experience at Preservation Connecticut, a statewide nonprofit organization established to preserve, protect and promote the buildings, sites and landscapes that contribute to the heritage and vitality of Connecticut’s communities. She leads a team of dynamic preservation professionals in empowering individuals, local, statewide and national partners in the stewardship and reimagining of the state’s irreplaceable built environment. Under her leadership the organization has expanded its impact, advocated for places that matter, and secured a $5M grant for sacred places in Bridgeport. She serves on the boards of Connecticut Preservation Action and the Coltsville Heritage Partnership, a friends group for Coltsville National Historical Park in Hartford. Jane holds a BS in Architecture from Temple University in Philadelphia and a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Leadership, Innovation and Organizational Sustainably from the University of New Haven.
