
Former Building Hero | Tiny WPA
Kamaiyah Jackson is a Philadelphia based Product Designer and recent graduate of Drexel University. Passionate about community centered work, she brings a thoughtful, creative lens to problem solving and designing for the public good. Her work often explores how design can be a tool for equity, resilience, and engagement in the built environment.
Kamaiyah is especially enthusiastic about teaching, learning, and collaborative making. She previously worked with Tiny WPA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and adults to become community design leaders. During her time there, she co-taught the Building Hero Training Program and contributed as a contract fabricator, helping to create meaningful improvements in public spaces across Philadelphia.
