Paul Growald is an entrepreneur and philanthropist whose passion is catalyzing constructive change through seeing and scaling opportunities to help repair the world. Paul was founding director of Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, long-time trustee and board chair of the California League of Conservation Voters and founder of the Pollinator Partnership. Earlier in his career, Paul was a special correspondent for the Washington Post and was the general partner of Small Cities Cable Television in Vermont. He is cofounder of the Growald Climate Fund with his wife, Eileen. Most recently, Paul created the Engagement Arts Fund and its Stopping Stones initiative as a vehicle for racial healing and repair. Partnering with local sponsors, its memorials honor individuals enslaved in early America. Paul is a beekeeper, amateur entomologist, avid bird watcher, and fly fisherman. He lives with his wife Eileen on a small organic farm in Vermont.
