Sarah Marchant is the Chief of Staff and VP of the ROC-NH Program at the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund. She leads the Resident Owned Communities (ROC) NH team and the organization’s environmental justice work, from shrinking the organization’s carbon footprint to extending clean energy to low-wealth communities including manufactured housing home owners and resident owned manufactured parks. She is responsible for business management, operations, executive communications, and cross-organizational strategic initiatives.
Marchant is a leading voice in New Hampshire and among urban planners nationally on the nexus of community development, affordable home ownership and environmental justice. In 2022, Sarah was elected to the American Planning Associations AICP Commission for Region 5 and Professional Development Officer of the Northern New England Chapter of the American Planning Association (NNECAPA) (having served as president from 2015 to 2021). In 2019, Sarah was appointed to the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority (NHHFA) Board of Directors and also serves on the ROC USA Board of Directors.
